This game has been tested in multiple youth groups, and was a huge hit with students!
It's a very good resource! I used it recently over a Disciple Now weekend for my students and they had a blast. We had some minor adaptions to rules/tasks but it all worked out really well. We made checklists of the tasks and even had an emergency meeting sound from using a soundboard on my phone and a Bluetooth speaker. Some students said that was their favorite part of the Disciple Now weekend and we'll likely be using the game in the future.
Awesome. Ease of ordering and value of materials is a plus for our small church.
We used it pretty much as directed. I spend about an hour reviewing, tweaking, gathering supplies. We created a couple additional “tasks” but it wouldn’t be necessary. Our kids had a great time, and it was definitely worth the money to be able to cut my time down for prep. Easy to use and understand. 1 hour of planning = 3 hours of game time. The best thing is that 12 kids from 5 different schools were all hanging out together and we’ve built a good foundation for more activities!
It was great! We actually used this for my sons birthday party and it made it work so well. Before I had this I wasn't sure what we would do! We added a couple tasks like stringing beads and shooting a target with nerf darts, but used the other tasks provided!(except the puzzle, which was cool, but a little time consuming for our age group.) Make sure you have time to get all of your supplies together and I would suggest foam board and an exacto knife for the puzzle!
It's a fun game. Had a nice area to play with 16 stations or task areas. Did a scale map for each player with locations listed on the map. Did quite a bit of prep work but now we can play again real easy. Have everything in one tote. Added tasks like rubber band sort(bags of mixed rubberbands from the dollar store) had multiple bags, chips sorting( three colors of poker chips in a bag 20 each) instead of beads, domino math( adding tiles to equal 100 exactly)scratch paper provided, 24 piece puzzles from the dollar store), suit the cards( sort a deck of cards by suit, had two puzzle stations, and three role the code stations, (one for each code). Count the change(tin box with a specific amount and an answer envelope to check your answer). Overcoated-a station with 5 coats you had to put on and take off each coat one at a time. You can make up your own tasks. Did not use the two water ones or the tissue one suggested in the game played with 7 people, 4 tasks ea. And two imposters. Played about 10 rounds in two hours.
