They might even fear they aren't good enough for God. The list goes on.
Should they continue to live in fear? Of course not! Let's help students understand what it means to be bold and confident in the face of fear. 
God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 
The Fearless series takes students on a journey to see how people in the Bible stood strong in the face of fear. They'll learn to be confident that God is with them, and that He will take care of them. They'll also learn God is in control, and they don't have to live in fear anymore! 

Fearless Overview

Week 1: Gideon

Bible: 2 Timothy 1:7; Judges 6-7

Description: In this lesson we will see how the story of Gideon can change our view of fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Week 2: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

Bible: 2 Timothy1:7; Daniel 1-3

Description: In this lesson we will see how Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego rose up and conquered what was a big fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 

Week 3: Daniel

Bible: 2 Timothy 1:7; 2 Samuel 23:20-23

Description: In this lesson we see Daniel as he faces the mouth of a lion without fear. 

Week 4: David

Bible: 2 Timothy 1:7; 1 Samuel 17

Description: In this lesson we see David as he goes to fight an un-winnable battle.
