A New Normal Overview
WEEK 1: WHAT TO DO WHEN NOTHING IS NORMAL
Bible: Psalm 18:2
Bottom Line: It is “normal” to feel uncomfortable when things change. God can give you peace, security, and wisdom to navigate during these times.
WEEK 2: INTO THE UNKNOWN
Bible: Romans 15:13
Bottom Line: When you leave “normal” behind and walk into the unknown, you learn to trust God in new ways.
WEEK 3: A NEW ATTITUDE
Bible: Ephesians 4:21-23
Bottom Line: Your attitude and actions reflect how well you are processing the changes in life that you are experiencing.
Bible: John 8:12
Bottom Line: When you follow Jesus, you discover a life better than the ‘normal’ life lived before.
Thanks for the timely material
The study is excellent and my students really got into it.
I just used week 1. Having a laid out material is good. I think it was a little long for 1 hour and needs some planning from the host side. I was hoping for something I could just use straight out of the box. Also a power point version would be good as it is a good source of online presentation. I had to convert the materials to power point. Many thanks for your materials.
I love the material. The only issue I had was my computer is older and my programs are outdated. I could not open a lot of the attachments. I was only able to use and save the Word docs and some of the PDFs. With these is should be able to piece together and amazing lesson. Love the material it is great sound biblical material that is relevant to issue going on today which is exactly what i wanted.
I love the material in the series "A New Normal" Very appropriate for middle school students. However the activity at the beginning of the lesson will not work for us since I will be prerecording all lessons, not having any contact wit the kids in person or viral. Not sure if there is a way to do these as part of the recording.
