Fierce: 8-Week Summer Series

This 8-week summer series encourages students to follow Jesus with boldness & confidence.

The series is designed to do either online or in-person with students. We give you options for both.

Someone who is “fierce” displays a heartfelt and powerful intensity about something. This summer, students will discover how to follow God with a bold and heartfelt passion in every area of their lives.

Each lesson includes an opening game (for both online and in-person) to help drive home the point. 

This series is written to be used with 6th-12th graders.

FIERCE: 8-Week Series Overview 

WEEK 1: FIERCE FAITH
Bible: Proverbs 28:1, Hebrews 11:1, Romans 8:17, James 2:14-19
Bottom Line: When you know who you are in Christ, you become bold and fearless in your faith.

WEEK 2: FIERCE PRAYERS
Bible: Hebrews 4:16, Romans 5:8, 1 John 5:14-15, John 15:7
Bottom Line: Because of God’s grace, you can come before Him without shame and offer bold prayers.

WEEK 3: FIERCE BOLDNESS
Bible: 2 Timothy 1:7, Daniel 3:8-21, Acts 7:54-60
Bottom Line: God removes your fear and doubts and replaces it with His love and boldness.

WEEK 4: FIERCE FRIENDSHIPS
Bible: 1 Peter 1:22, Colossians 3:12-14, Proverbs 17:17, John 15:12-15
Bottom Line: Love your friends with the same fierce love that God has for you.

WEEK 5: FIERCE PERSEVERANCE
Bible: James 1:12, 2 Timothy 4:3, Romans 5:3-5, Galatians 6:9, Hebrews 12:1-2
Bottom Line: You can fiercely pursue God, knowing that He will always be with you through the highs and lows of life.

WEEK 6: FIERCE INTEGRITY
Bible: Luke 16:10-11, 1 Peter 3:15-17, 1 Peter 2:11-17, Psalm 119:1 
Bottom Line: We must honor God with fierce integrity, both in front of others and when “no one’s” looking.

WEEK 7: FIERCE LOVE
Bible: 1 Peter 4:8, John 3:16, John 15:12-17, Luke 23:32-43, Romans 5:8, Matthew 5:43-47, Matthew 5:11
Bottom Line: God’s love towards us compels us to boldly show love to each other.

WEEK 8: FIERCE LIVING
