Everyone loves a good film because everyone loves a good story. GOOD stories are ones that we connect with. BETTER stories are those that teach us something important — something we can apply in our own lives. But the BEST stories are those that point to the reality of God. Stories that reflect true love, self-sacrifice, and trust — all of the things that point to God’s love and goodness in our lives.

I purchased this series for our Preteen group at our church. We have about 20 students total. Our Church -Big Service- does a GOD on Film series each summer, and as an adult I love it. So when I saw this for Preteens, I thought what a fun series, not sure I will use the same movies, but I will use some, and then have a MOVIE night during the series at your meeting place or a Saturday at a theater, if there is an appropriate movie out. I think this summer we will do the INSIDE/OUT 2. Since most of our students are at this stage- 5th and 6th graders. Overall, I love Ministry to Youth lessons because they lay everything out well and give great insight to lead and teach our students great lessons to help them navigate this difficult season of their life with a God Focused lens. Our job as leaders are to plant and cultivate the seeds God has place in our care for each student.
